Question Everything

I created this site for one reason and one reason only, to record my inner voice and express my emphatic need to constantly question everything and challenge the status quo.

As opposed to the added benefit of being able to record my thoughts, rants and inspirational blips in time, I feel that the content I deliver through this platform could be of value to you and others who wish to question, be questioned and pushed, through philosophical opposition and/or agreeance.

Enjoy, or not.

The Physical Body

I believe that in order to achieve balance, well-being and ultimately that concept we call happiness, you must form an intimate relationship with your body, the way it feels, looks and serves you.  I have managed to achieve this through my borderline obsession with exercise, extreme sports and CrossFit. This, of course, may not be your cup of tea, however, giving our bodies the nutrition and exercise it needs is without question a necessity.
In my experience people who eat nutritious food and follow some form of exercise routine are infinitely happier and less prone to illness.
The Physical body is one of my pillar to success and is a topic I will cover often within the contents of my blogs

Spiritual Connection

Spiritual connection is a tough one to describe or give guidance on. Each and every individual has a very personal and sometimes deep relationship with the concept of spirituality, even if that relationship equates to not believing anything at all, which ironically is actually a strong belief and spiritual connection in itself.

I believe that it is not what you believe that really counts but more that you choose to believe in something. Something greater and bigger than you, something with the ideals that you wish to aspire to. Spiritual connection to me boils down to one’s ability to ask the bigger questions.

I often question my beliefs and I find myself constantly asking those big questions and challenging the answers my mind serves up to me. Believing in something bigger than myself gives me the ability to remain humble and feeds the realization that I am but a blip on the radar of existence.

Spiritual connection is another pillar to success and a better understanding of this pillar in your own life will allow you to grow and develop your connection with others.

Mental Agility

The ability to contribute to any conversation regardless of the topic is my definition of mental agility. Having vast amounts of academic knowledge on one particular topic although commendable is nothing to brag about.

Almost every individual I have met has a specific interest or profession that they specialize in. Not many individuals I have met are capable of positively contributing to any conversation regardless of the topic.

Spend time building up general knowledge and LISTENING to other people (especially if they are smart). A wise man is one that can accurately articulate the life lessons and stories of the lower, middle and upper class. As my mother taught me, you should be able to walk with kings yet speak the common tongue.

Spend time to develop your ability to be flexible, even around those individuals you believe will contribute nothing to your life, everyone has a story worth listening to and the more you listen the wiser you become.
Be mentally agile!
